Whilst out on an AK Wildlife Cruise at the beginning of the month, we were fortunate to come across an amazing feeding frenzy of Common Dolphins and seabirds in Falmouth Bay. It was fantastic to see over 150 dolphins feeding alongside diving Gannets - slicing into the sea like black darts from above - and also an assortment of Gulls plucking the Herring from the surface.
I took plenty of images during the trip (see my blog post here), and in particular of the diving Gannets. I was lucky to capture a Gannet's complete dive as it plunged into the sea, and decided to edit the sequence together yesterday. This is the result...
